Frequently asked questions

Does this check tell me for certain that I qualify?

No. It is a preliminary check based on a few answers. Each scheme confirms eligibility through its own process: an MCS-certified installer for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, your council for the Warm Homes: Local Grant, and an energy supplier for ECO4.

Why do you ask for my postcode?

Schemes differ between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and the postcode tells us which nation the property is in. It is worked out in your browser and is only sent to us if you choose to leave your details at the end.

Can more than one scheme apply?

Sometimes, but not automatically. Each scheme has its own rules about other public funding. The results list every scheme that looks worth checking, most promising first, and we can help you work out which one to pursue.

Do I have to leave my details to see the result?
