How Warm Home Support handles personal information, and what the forms on this website currently do — and do not do — with anything you type into them.
Last updated:
The short version
The enquiry forms on this website are not currently connected to any system. They do not send, store or transmit what you type. Until that changes, this site collects no personal information from you at all.
Who this policy is from
This website is operated by Warm Home Support. The registered company details for the operator will be published here once company registration is complete; until then, the site is not collecting personal data through its forms, so there is no processing to attribute.
For any question about this policy, use the contact page.
What the forms on this site do
There are three forms here: the eligibility checker, the quote request form and the contact form. All three are currently inert. They validate what you type in your own browser so you can see whether anything has been missed, and that is all. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is written to a database, and nothing is emailed to anyone.
The eligibility checker keeps your answers in the page while you move between steps so that going back does not lose them. Those answers exist only in the browser tab you are using and disappear when you close it.
When the enquiry system is connected, this page will be updated before the forms start accepting submissions, and it will say plainly what is collected, why, on what lawful basis, and for how long it is kept.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. There is no advertising network, no social media pixel and no session recording. Our cookie policy explains this in more detail.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google. As with any web host, requests to the server may be logged by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes, which can include IP addresses. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
Links to other websites
Our scheme pages link to official sources on GOV.UK, Ofgem and legislation.gov.uk. Those are separate organisations with their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data an organisation holds about you, including the right to be told what is held, to have it corrected, to have it deleted in some circumstances, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it.
Since this site is not currently collecting personal data through its forms, in most cases there will be nothing held. If you have contacted us by some other route and want to know what we hold, ask and we will tell you.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's independent regulator for data protection. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the way the site handles information changes — in particular when the enquiry forms are connected. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
